The ugly truth-fund manager is a square

What is the first image in the mind when one thinks of Ugg boots come from? Probably not tan boots lined in sheepskin.

You are most likely to think that girls wear boots. Your name could be Rochelle or Charlene or Mikaela.

She is 20 years old, blond hair and tight jeans, a suburb of scrapings Mall near you.

But something strange happened five years ago. Ugg Boots began to appear in fashion magazines, warming the feet of class A celebrities like Kate Moss, Sarah Jessica Parker and Jennifer Aniston.

Oprah recommends it as a Christmas gift. Suddenly, Rochelle and Mikaela werent only fashionable, were leaders of fashion. Lower Hutt was 10 years ahead of Hollywood.

How the hell did that happen? To be honest, our friends in the ditch probably had more to do with the rise of Uggs Rochelle or Mikaela.

Although invented the origins of the Uggs are controversial, many believe they were from Australia by surfers to keep their feet warm after the day on the water.

And it was an Australian surfer Brian Smith, who took the winter boots to the U.S. in the 1980s.

Boots has a niche in the California beach communities seen, but that's just the Smiths UGG brand from an American company, Deckers Outdoor Corporation, that the sale was bought really going on.
